motion graphics for ctm docs. onderkomen tells the story of three afghan boys who fled to the netherlands as minors without parents. for years they have been waiting for a permanent residence permit, in the meantime the boys try to build a new life in the netherlands. the documentary is enhanced with multiple animations that narrates the lives of the boys. i visualized the devastating stories and its deep sadness through illustrations and 2d animation.
